Youth Programs in Sept 2014

Programs for Kids and Teens:

  • Sept2014 Read toa DogSaturday, September 6 from 11 am to Noon
    Read to a Dog
    Children K to 5th grade can reserve a 20-minute slot to read to a therapy dog in a small group.  Please sign up at the circ desk or by phone at 215-947-5138.
  • Monday, Sept 8-Dec. 15 at 10:30 am
    Preschool Storytime with Miss Glynnis

    Stories, songs and crafts for 3, 4 & 5 year-olds.
  • Tuesday, Sept 9-Dec. 16 at 10:30 am
    Toddler Storytime with Miss Diane
    Stories and music for 1 and 2 year olds.
  • Wednesday, September 10 at 7 pm
    Pajama Storytime
    Miss Glynnis will share stories, songs and a craft.  All ages welcome and you can wear your pajamas for storytime – registration is not required.
  • PatGuthAuthorSaturday, September 13 at 10:30 am
    Read-Aloud Storytime with local author Pat Guth
    Pat will read from her children’s book Emily Goes to Philadelphia.  Pretzels and refreshments served.  All ages welcome. Registration is requested.

  • Friday, September 19 at 10:30 am
    Talk Like a Pirate Dress-up Storytime
    Ahoy, matey! Join us upstairs in your best pirate wear for stories, games, crafts and buried treasure! Arrr!  Registration be requested, matey.
  • Saturday, September 20 from 10:30 – 11:15 am
    Music & Movement Class with Children’s Music Express
    Join us in this lively 45-minute monthly class for you and your little loves!  All ages welcome. Registration is required.  Sponsored by Friends of Huntingdon Valley Library.
