Explore your creativity with Lynn in two writing workshops and a Poetry and Music Cabaret. Lynn is a published poet and teaches at the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel. Open to adults and young adults.
Registration is $25 and includes a copy of Poems for the Writing: Prompts for Poets. Limited seats for the workshops, so please sign up by March 28 at the Library (215-947-5138 or email@example.com).
If you are interested in performing at the Poetry and Music Cabaret by reading a poem or giving an acoustic performance, please contact Sharon at firstname.lastname@example.org. Performances are limited to 3 minutes per person, per round. Registration will be open until 7:00 p.m. the night of the Cabaret.
Lynn Levin is also the author of the poetry collection Miss Plastique (Ragged Sky Press, 2013) and co-author of Poems for the Writing: Prompts for Poets (Texture Press). Levin’s newest book is Birds on the Kiswar Tree (2Leaf Press, 2014), a translation from the Spanish of poems by the Peruvian poet Odi Gonzales. Her previous poetry collections include Fair Creatures of an Hour, a Next Generation Indie Book Awards finalist in poetry, and Imaginarium, a finalist for ForeWord Magazine’s Book of the Year Award. Her poems have appeared in Ploughshares, Boulevard, The Hopkins Review and Southwest Review.
