What’s your favorite love story?

ROSES ARE RED…

VIOLETS ARE BLUE…

A GOOD ROMANTIC BOOK

MAY BE A VALENTINE FOR YOU.

There are many writers of romantic fiction; however, the most interesting aspects are usually the covers. Perennial authors such as Danielle Steel, Barbara Taylor Bradford, Fern Michaels, Eileen Goudge, and Barbara Delinsky still pique our reading appetites. One contemporary author Adriana Tigiana has a series with a fictional character named Valentine. She is a volatile maker of shoes (not a shoemaker!), who delights us with colorful Italian characters. One of her books is being made to a movie. None of them can capture the greatest love story in book and screen genres: GONE WITH THE WIND. What is your favorite love story?

  1. My favorite love story is “Love Story” with Ryan O’Neal and Ali MacGraw. This film was directed by Arthur Hiller. The film, well known as a tragedy, is considered one of the most romantic of all times by the American Film Institute.
